WordPress Active Care Plan
This is a monthly service for WordPress websites hosted with Website Angels.
What is included
- WordPress core updates
- Plugin and theme updates, (subject to compatibility)
- Monthly form testing
- PHP version monitoring and upgrades, (subject to compatibility)
- Recovery support: Free restoration of the site from backup if the site is compromised, up to twice per month
- Reporting: Monthly summary report of work completed
Maintaining your website with an Active Care Plan is about looking after the website you already have so it continues to run properly, stay secure, and remain compatible with modern technology.
It does not mean rebuilding the site or creating a new one.
In the same way that regular servicing keeps a car reliable and safe to drive, ongoing website care keeps your existing site functioning well and helps prevent larger problems developing over time.
What “subject to compatibility” means
Some updates can break a website if a plugin or theme is outdated, poorly built, or no longer supported. When an update is not safe to apply, we will flag it and advise you on the next step.
Without Active Care:
- Updates are not applied
- Compatibility issues can build over time
- Security risks increase
- Fixes become reactive and are usually more expensive
- Restorations from backups are chargeable
